Who this is for

You wake up with a stiff neck again. Your lower back aches after a day at the desk. Maybe it has gone on for weeks, and rest, stretches from a video or pain pills have not settled it.

A registered physiotherapist looks at how you sit, move and work, finds what may be adding to the pain, and gives you treatment and simple exercises to do at your desk and at home.

What physio does for back and neck pain

Here is how it works.

  1. We talk about your day

How long it has hurt, what makes it worse, and how you sit and work.

  2. We check how you move

Your physiotherapist checks your back, neck and shoulders, and how you bend and turn.

  3. We start treatment

Hands-on care and a few exercises, explained in plain words.

  4. We adjust as you go

At each visit your physiotherapist checks how you are doing and changes the plan if needed.

Questions before you book

I have had it for months. Is it worth booking?

Many people come after weeks or months. Your physiotherapist will look at what is going on and tell you plainly what they think.

Do I need a scan first?

Usually not. If your physiotherapist thinks you need one, they will tell you and suggest seeing your doctor.

When should I see a doctor instead?

If the pain came from a fall or a crash, or you have numbness, weakness, or trouble with your bladder or bowels, see a doctor or go to emergency right away.

What does it cost?

Fees are given when you book. We bill most insurers directly.
